OT: GA friends

Just wanted to check on all m y GA friends hoping that you are all safe and DRY! We are lucky where we are! Please chime in and let us know how you all are!

Hands up here for Nathan and I....it is so sad and horrible elsewhere...they are showing Austell on the national news even and that is the next little subdivision to where I am at....where I took Nathan to the pedi today....DANGIT.....and people could not make it to work and left work.....a friend of mine in Douglasville has no water until Thur maybe.....and just to think we were in a drought last year.....golly!!!!

And the rain is not suppose to stop until the end of the week....ugh....

Oh good Ann I thought you might be in some deep water of there, glad you aren't! Hope Nathan is better ASAP!

Hey Beth, we are ok up here.  I have to go to Gwinnett tommorrow for physical therapy and the dentist.  I hope I can make it.  I wish this rain would stop b/c Jason can't work in the rain.  The good thing is if people are having leaks they can let him know.  Also, when do you think we can do a GA get together?

Hi Beth!  I am new here, and have not had the pleasure of getting to know you yet..but I live in Norcross(in Gwinnett).  WE are doing okay, just completely water-logged.  We've had several roads washed out, bridges collapsed, and a mudslide...its been a fun day.  But we are okay.  I currently just found 2 cracks over my doorway that have started leaking, but I'm a 3rd story apartment so I don't have to worry so much about flooding...just a leak.  The management tells me there is nothing they can do until the rain stops, and it dries.  But...we are all well and good.

Oh where will you be delivering? I had my baby at Gwinnett Medical and had a great experience!!

I'm not sure...but I was definitely thinking Gwinnett Medical...I am barely 5 miles from there...LOL.

A get together would be great.  The only other person I know preggie is out towards Columbus but in the AL area.  I love meeting new people, and this is a totally new experience for me.  I'd love to talk to other people who had surgery and got pregnant cuz I think some of these weird symptoms are specific to us.  LOL
