I'm 9 wks prego and scheduled to see my dr for the first time next week.  I noticed that when I wipe there is a tint of red/brown.....I have a call into my dr and just waiting for a callback but thought I would ask here....I havent had sex or anything that would cause it so........I'm kinda worried.....

I had very light spotting at about 3wks. Nothing serious. I didn't even know at the time I was pregnant. I just thought I was about to get my period. Nope! At 9 wks that would have worried me a little bit but I have also read a lot of women experience this. It could just be left over's from your uterus. If it's brown it's old but if it's bright red it's new so the red stuff is what you would want to look out for. I hope everything is ok!! I also hope you get some more advice because I don't know a whole lot about this topic.

I am 23 weeks and have had issues with spotting all pregnancy.  Turns out I have a very sensative cervix and even just normal pushing for a BM can cause me to spot.  Always check it with your Doc but in my case it has nothing to do with the baby, it's just me pregnant. Good luck and let us know.

I spotted quite a bit with my last pregnancy.  I even had blood and clots at 12 weeks...and now that little reason for worry is 2 years old.  :-)  Hope yours turns out that way too!!

I spotted off and on during my 1st trimester too.  I found that it only happened after I slept on my stomach.  Make sure you let your OB know, but bleeding early bleeding can be completely normal.  The OB can make sure it's normal and not something else.
