Post WLS Births....Did you go to term?

I was 39 weeks even but with a scheduled csection. It was discovered at my 38 weeks appt that he was breeched and didn't have any intention on coming out anytime soon.

From the ladies that replied, I'm seeing more reaching term or beyond....that's reassuring!

I went at 37.5 weeks with Niko, but he was sitting really low from the beginning. I can't go the full term because of other reasons. She scheduled my c-section for 39 weeks, but said she's not going anywhere just in case from 35 weeks on. My doc is awesome! She's actually my family doc's OB too. She wants to be the one that does the c-section.

I see a lot of women on here go full term---sometimes past.

With DD#1 I was 39w5d and with DD#2 I was 40w2d. There are a few ladies in the past few months that have been overdue like myself. Your baby will come when he wants, and then you'll be wondering why you wanted him out so bad....sleepless nights are so hard.

Matthew was born at 38 weeks and 2 days via c-section.   My water broke almost a week before my scheduled c-section.  He was 6 lbs 10 oz, 18" long.

38w2d for Emma. My water broke. She was 9 1/2 pounds. This one is also measuring 2 w ahead. But don't worry... I don't think it is the WLS, I have diabetes, which makes babies grow faster. Shari

I guess everybody is different... but I'm 40w1d today and it doesn't feel like Lil Mama's planning on coming anytime soon although I wish she would. She's still in there turning flips and whatnot. LOL Don't worry, the baby will come when it's ready (I wish I could wrap my own mind around that LOL)
