I've been reading through a lot of posts and while I know every pregnancy is different.  It seems like babies born after WLS don't go to term.  I've seen a lot of 35-36 weekers.

I'm 34 weeks and NOT ready, lol!  I'd like him to hold on for another month or so.

How many weeks were you when baby was born?

I was 38w3d when I was induced; my daughter was born a day later, weighing in at 9lbs. 6.4oz. and 21 inches long.  I have no doubts that I would have gone the full 40 weeks, if not longer.

41w1d and he taken by emergency c-section. I wasn't dilated at all and he wasn't coming any time soon. I was having contractions but they weren't thinning my cervix at all. He ended up pressing his foot against the cord and cutting off oxygen so his heartbeat was going down with each contraction, so they went in and got him. He was a very healthy 7lbs. 5oz. Today he is a 6 week old 11lb. oinker :-)

I was induced with both boys at 40 weeks.  Both were fine, but didn't want to come on their own!

40 weeks ON THE NOSE...on his due date :) But I ended up having a c-section because at my 39 week 2 day appt I was nowhere near anything and he was measuring at 9 lbs 14 ounces and a 95th percentile head circumfrance :) so they gave me the option and I gladly accepted...he ended up being born 9 pounds 9 ounces....

btw, where do you live in town? where are you delivering at? I had Nathan at Northside....

I've actually moved...just hadn't updated my profile.  I now live in Decatur, AL which is just outside of Huntsville.

My OB/GYN in Atlanta was Dr. Brad Moore....awesome doc!  I wish I could go back just to have my baby, lol.

I was induced at 39 weeks but I think I was further along than that - he was 10.5 lbs and 21 inches long.  I had to have him by c-section after 24 hours.
