Anyone else experience near fainting spells?
So I was 6 months post op when I found I was pregnant. I am 15 weeks pregnant and have been having these episodes of feeling ike I am going to faint, sweating and my arms and legs get very weak. I have never had this happen before. My OB thinks that it has to do with my blood pressure dropping but I don't agree. It happens as I am sitting down or driving or walking. Anyone else experience anything like this?
Thanks for any information you can provide!

I have the same issues and its mostly from low blood pressure. I also have some issues with dropping blood sugar. I drink at least one glass of tea a day to help get my blood going a little better. I also eat more often which helps. I also keep a piece of candy in my purse for when I feel the shakiness. It has all worked so far. The tea though in the begining helped a whole lot though. I felt completely different after I started drinking it. I do have very low blood pressure and it effects you in just the way you are saying. I just did what they suggested and its been working very well so far. Good luck!!

Not only did I have near fainting spells but I actually fainted once. Mine was due to low blood pressure. I would be fine then all of a sudden my pressure would drop and then I'd get all the same symptoms as you. The one time I actually fainted it was also accompanied with my ears ringing/popping. My dr just said that it happens a lot in pregnancy and to just take everything really slow and when those symptoms pop up to make sure im sitting down.
I was standing in line last week at a baby consignment sale and almost fainted. I broke out in a cold sweat and started seeing black spots. I told the lady behind me that I was pregnant, just in case I actually did pass out. After sitting down for about 5 mintues I felt back to normal again. In the first trimester if I stood up too fast or bent over alot I would feel like I was going to faint. Not for sure what causes it....other than being pregnant. I'm just hoping we don't actually faint! I see my OB tomorrow and will ask her about it if I can remember.

Thanks Ladies for sharing. This is my 5th pregnancy (1 lost at 18 weeks) and I have never had anything like this happen. I was wondering if it had to due with having wls.
I have had a lot of new things this pregnancy, which I attribute to having wls, not even a year ago but they are all things expected, for example, feeling like I just had surgery (only being able to take a couple of bites at a time), becoming lactose intolerant, more nausea, more bloating and more stomach cramps and having trouble keeping my fluids in. My morning sickness was extreme and I lost 10 lbs in 2 months. On the up side, this is the first pregnancy for me that I don't already look 5 months pregnant and all my normal clothes still fit, which was never the case with previous pregnancies, even my first.
