24 week Doc Appt.
Hi Ladies...
Just got back from my appt. Everything is going great! Urine great, BP normal. I finally got up enough nerve to ask how much weight I have gained by their scales and the whole pregnancy I have only gained 3 pounds!!! How is that for awesomeness!! We discussed the goal around 15-20 pounds the entire pregnancy and she said she doesn't see any problem with me getting that back off after the baby makes his arrival. She approved my Thanksgiving "holiday" weekend/babymoon. We are planning on going to Charlotte, NC and staying the weekend for a church get together. So that is exciting.
Memphis is doing great! His heartrate was strong at 158 and proving he is cantankerous kicked hard the minute the nurse put the doppler on my tummy. The nurse kept commenting on how strongly he kicked for 24 weeks...lol Made his daddy proud lol I am measuring 26 weeks but she said I was right on because of my extra skin...
She said I was a normal pregnant lady...WOW I have never been called normal! WOOHOO I will try to update with some pictures later this evening if I can remember...

Edited to add...I requested they check my vitamin levels, so I went to the lab and they will call me next week with results...Just wanted to add that in!

Doing great- my little ones gives them the riot act every time they try to listen. Most give up after they get a quick listen...last time the lady didn't she waited it out, and watched and laughed as she kicked the Doppler. She wanted to know who she got feisty from. Keep up the great job- sounds like you are enjoying your pregnancy and doing great.
