curious with questions

Hello everyone,

I have some questions and concerns I'm going to throw out there.

Q#1--I'm trying to get an average weight gain amungst pregnant women who had rny. I know, I know, every woman is different.
Q#2--Has anyone had complications with umbilical cord flow? If so, please explain your END result.

Concern#1--I'm 27 weeks pregnant, she's weighing in at 13 ounces give or take 2 ounces, and measuring in at 20-21 weeks. My umbilical cord flow is not normal, at this point stopping during the 2nd prt of the heartbeat. Has anyone else been through anything similar?

This same thing happened in my last pregnancy. Last pregnancy ended at 24wks, resulting in my son passing away.

Concern#2--27wks pregnant, gained 30 pounds already. Is this normal?

I am being monitored closely by my Dr.'s and specialists. Ultrasounds every tuesday, non-stress tests every other day at the hospital, and bi-weekly appointments with my ob.

Any thoughts? If so, thanks in advance-
Liz

I dont have advise but I wanted to say I am hoping for the best for you two. I cant say a normal weight gain for me cause I have been in the hospital 3 times in the past 2 months and each time they pump me full of fluid and I gain a lot. I lose some but by the next time I go back in I have not lost all the fluid. This past week I was in for a week and had my gallbladder removed and I gained 33 pounds in just that week. So far I have lost 16 in 6 days so I am not sure what my real weight gain is.
I hope everything turns out well for you!!!

With Emma I gained 70...this time as of 32 weeks only 8. I don't know much about the umbilical cord flow thing, but I just wanted you to know I will keep it in prayer. Shari

I haven't had a post-WLS baby to answer re the weight gain and haven't got any info on the umbilical cord problem either...but wanted to tell you that you and your little one will be in my prayers.  Hopefully with the close monitoring by the drs, there won't be any complications, even if it means your little bean is born a little petite.
