Cooper ate poop !!!!
I was picking up some veggies for dinner.... and my husband calls me and says "Hurry home, Cooper really pooped!"
By the time I got home my husband had bathed Cooper and put him in a clean sleeper (that's another whole story - he took a brand new sleeper from the closet - unwashed - and put it on Cooper AND FORGOT TO CUT OFF THE TAGS. heh heh I took pictures of Cooper with these tags hanging off him I just haven't loaded them yet)
Anyway.... turns out Cooper made a mess in his diaper -- daddy freaked out and Cooper managed to get his hand in it. These days Cooper's hand goes directly into his mouth. Before daddy could stop him Cooper had sampled his own poop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell me that everything will be okay ??? How much harm can a little poopie do??
Cooper always has his fist in his mouth -- or his pacifier or a bottle !
Thank you!
Cindy

I'm sure your LO will be fine. I'm sure it probably wasn't a lot anyways. When my brother was little he got into the cat litter box and ate some cat poop. My mom said she had turned her back for 1 second and he was gone. And there he was in the cat box. He's 36 now so I'd imagine that your own poop would be MUCH better than cap poop.
He should be fine. He may get a little tummy ache. When Alex was about 2, I had strep throat and was so sick, laying on the couch. My mom was supposed to be watching him, but he kept coming up and pawing at me. I was so out of it, it took me a moment to realize that he had something on his hands. When I opened my eyes, I was mortified to find that it was bright green poopie. It was everywhere. He was potty trained already,so no diaper to catch any of it. I grabbed him and ran to the tub. Yes, he had gotten some of it in his mouth because he was screaming. He was fine. It took me days to figure out why his poop was so green. My mom had given him those fruit gusher things with blue dye in them. He was so relieved not to have poopie on him after that , he curled up and went to sleep. BUT EWWWWW!
Cooper will be okay. I'd be more worried if he'd eaten cat poop.

No advice but Nylah was about 8-9 months old I went out for a bit leaving her with DH. I got called about an hour into my shopping spree "come home now!" I'm like what happened? Nylah managed to crawl to the bathroom and pick pee soaked toilet paper out and was sucking on it ewwwww gross, Of course my first response was why in the (real bad word) weren't you watching her? He says "she's fast". Gosh she is not that fast and if you weren't playing video games this wouldn't happen! We did call the ped and they said to just make sure she didn't get a fever and as long as there was no poop she was probably fine, she was fine but luckily I had just bleached the toilet that morning so no one even went poop....thank god!
LOL...First a story and a cute baby eating poop then another sucking pee pee soaked toilet paper, lol... I think I'd have all gray hair worrying about slips & falls and what they are putting in their little mouths.
I know you are worried but I think the baby will be okay. Things happen and some people get a little over worked up about it. Good luck.
edit: Cooper is a great name.

Is it wrong that I found this funny? A little? Sorry! Never experienced that with my kiddos, but my friend did and the ped said a small amount won't hurt them as long as it's their own poo. Any vomiting, fever or diarrhea, call the dr.
Cute picture!
