Femara/BD...or Femara/trigger shot/BD?

I'm on CD 8 today...just finished the 5mg per day of Femara yesterday.  DH arrives back to Jakarta on Monday (CD 12), and I usually O around CD 15/16.  We'd decided that this month, we'd try the Femara and plain old-fashioned BD (rather than IUI)...which has worked 3x in the past 1 1/2 years even w/o any drugs. 

However, I was wondering...wouldn't it increase my chances (just because it would ensure the timing a little better) if I did the trigger shot also?  Monday/Tuesday (CD 12/13) are Indonesian holidays (think Christmas/Thanksgiving all combined into one holiday...MAJOR holiday), so I know I won't be able to go in for an u/s to see if/how many follies there are until probably Wednesday and do the trigger later in the week.  I assume they have to do an u/s before they'd do the trigger, right?

Is there anyone else out there who has done the Femara (or Clomid or whatever), trigger and BD and succeeded?  If it doesn't work this month...we'll go back to the IUI route next month...we just figured since DH's been gone for a month...the old fashioned way might be a little more fun right now.

The one month I did Femara and the trigger shot it worked after several previous multiple months of attempts with Clomid and trigger shots. I was also on Avandia daily (subbed for Metformin) and did Viagra suppositories (help increase uterine lining for implantation) which I did for 3 days prior to the trigger shot. Now, I did that in January, had a cycle on Feb 3rd, but then later found out in March preggo, hubby thinks it was just luck after we had given up, I think otherwise. I hope this is your month!

Femara always worked for me... never did the Trigger.

I don't think you will need the trigger. I think you guys won't have a problem with timing this cycle. Shari

I was successful without the trigger, just the Clomid, old-fashioned BDing, on break before the next round of IUI.
