Hey Ladies,

At how many weeks did you find out the gender of your baby?  I have read that it is usually between 18 and 20 weeks, but it seems like some of you have found out earlier.  I am anxious..

Thanks,

Kim

First pregnancy 22 weeks (she was hiding the parts)...this pregnancy the tech told me around 13 weeks that she felt from what she could see that it would be a girl...but not to bank on it.  18/19 weeks confirmed another little girl for us.  It seems so long- but it will be so exciting.

At my 12 week ultrasound with the high-risk OB he said "If I were a betting man I'd put money on you having a boy".

I told him he had to be wrong - because the Chinese Gender Predicter  :

Said I was having a girl.....   he looked at me crossed eyed and told me to look at the screen - he pointed out the "boy parts" .  I told him it was the umbilical cord he was looking at -- heh heh.  He assured me it wasn't.

(I was kinda hoping for a girl --- but I am pleased a*****h with my little man!)

4 weeks later it was confirmed again - a boy.  And again 4 weeks later.... etc every time we had an ultrasound there his-boyness was!  Cooper never had any problem showing his stuff during ultrasounds.

Good Luck!

We found out at 18 1/2 weeks. They said its best to wait till around then for confirmation since in the begining everything looks very similiar. I felt it took forever too. It went pretty fast though so it worked out. Good luck!!

With my first, I think we found out around 19 weeks.   With my 2nd, we went in at 18 weeks and the u/s tech said oh it's another boy (my first is a boy), but then by the end of the u/s, she said to come back next week to confirm because she wasn't sure.   I had a feeling it was a girl to begin with, so I was glad she told us to come back.   So we went home with u/s pics that said "It's a boy!!" and then the last few pics said "It's a ???"... lol   We went in a week later on my bday and yep, I was right, it WAS a girl!

I'm going to go in at 18 weeks and find out the sex of this baby.   Usually when it's a boy, you KNOW by the obvious package, but girls are a little more tricky.   You usually look for the three "dots" in a triangular form down there for a girl (the two vaginal lips and the clitoris).    And I saw that with my 2nd, not my first baby!

Hit goal weight of 140 at 13 months out from RNY!! 130 pounds GONE!
