I. CAN'T. TAKE. IT!!

I have so been there.  I cried and cried and cried.  One thing that did work for me was bouncing on the birthing ball.  It helped loosen my plug.

Supposedly sex is an old wives tale (but I bet people on here will say it worked for them).  Either way if you don't want to do it, don't.  Walking supposedly works... and did for me on the morning my water broke. I walked for an hour in 90 degree heat.  Brutal.

It is so hard.  I am sorry but before you know it, it will be over.  You'll be holding that little baby so soon.

Thanks! It's not that I don't want to have sex... I just don't want to be out of breath worse than I was before WLS... Talk about work! LOL Gonna have to go get a birthing ball ------>

I was exactly the opposite... as sick I was of getting up in the middle of the night, swollen feet etc... I cried knowing my pregnancy was going to end. I loved more then anything feeling Josiah move around inside me. I knew I was going to miss that feeling... I was glad when he was born but I kept telling everyone, I could have been pregnant for another 2 months. LOL

Try drinking raspberry leaf tea. You can get it at any heath food store.

I can imagine how you are feeling and I am sure that I will probably feel the same way closer to the end.  I think that you should just find something to preoccupy your time.  Have you finished the nursery?  Are there any little project that you can do in the house?  Just find something that will be fun/interesting to you and focus on that.

Take care!

My Emma came 12 days early after a broken water and 26 hours of labor, an emergency csection and then 4 days in the NICU. I would much rather have had her bake until her due date and be ready to come out and able to come home right away. I think your baby has great intuition and will know just when the time is right for a healthy delivery. Good luck, it won't be long now! Shari

Take a deep breath,.Enjoy these last few days or week to yourself. Do some last minute things around the house, get your nails done, go out to eat with a friend. It is all about to change and it will be a few weeks before you get some "Me" time again.

I know it is very hard the last 2-3 weeks. You just want it all over and to see that little person!

With a newborn here at my house and a 10 yr old son,....i am lucky to eat, pee, poop without interuption!

Congrats again, you will be holding that baby before you know it!!!

I felt like that with my last pregnancy - he was supposed to be a preemie but I kept baking and baking until he was finally induced and over 10.5 lbs.  I tried EVERYTHING!  I even rode my motor scooter thru construction sites hoping the bounciness would pop something.  I used my breast pump, bounced around the house on a birthing ball, had my massage therapist do accupressure TWO different times, ate spicy, everything short of sex and castor oil.  The only reason I didn't have sex was because I was litterally dilated 4cm for 2 weeks with my bag of water bulging out and DH and I didn't want um, ya know - THAT to bounce off the baby's head - LOL!

Good luck.  I'm already feeling this way with the twins but I know that THEY need to bake much longer.  I hope you go in the next week!

I hear ya - I felt like that from 37 weeks on with BOTH of my kids!!!! I was walking 4 miles a day, having sex (and yes FORCING is the right word! LOL! DH said I deserved an Emmy), eating crazy amount of pineapple.... all of this after being on bedrest for preterm at 32 weeks!!!

You will make it - then all of a sudden it didn't seem so bad and you are willing to do it again!

Do you have any hobbies that you like that could keep your mind off of things? Maybe shopping (walking the mall couldn't hurt!)

Pop in some movies and relax - do you have Dirty Dancing?? I watched that one alot - God Bless Patrck Swayze. Such an amaxzing and SEXY man!

you sound totally normal at the end of your pregnancy.   After being pregnant for almost 40 weeks, you are READY to have this baby!   And ayou're done being pregnant and to get onto the next phase of caring for your baby and watch her grow and thrive!   I've felt like that with both my babies and I'm sure I'll feel like you in another 30 weeks from now!   I thankfully was able to be induced 5 days early with my first and then a week early with my 2nd baby, so I didn't have to wait to go into labor!!

Hit goal weight of 140 at 13 months out from RNY!! 130 pounds GONE!
