Curious about the numbers...
On Saturday my hcg was 816 on Monday it was 1860 today it was 2740. My nurses voice sounded sad when she gave me the number today and she said it didn't quite double...they want me to come in on Friday for more bloodwork and an ultrasound. I thought as long as they were increasing it was good. Should I be worried?

I was always told as long as they go up that it is a great sign. Dont read too much in to other people. Sometimes we let them control our mood and all. Maybe she had a bad day. I say dont worry as long as numbers are going up. You know I am psuhing for this for you.

Thanks for the encouragement. I thought she would be more straightforward but there was the tone in her voice that made me question it. I must just have been reading too much into it. I will post as soon as I get in on Friday to let you guys know how things look.

Yeah... I wouldn't worry. If you google hcg levels you will find that most of the websites say that your numbers should double every 48-72 hours in early pg. Plus I doubt you took your blood at exactly 48 hours. Maybe the nurse was thinking it was a singleton and not a multiple pregnancy? It is hard to judge voice inflections. Your numbers are looking great! Try not to stress. Shari

Thanks for the information Shari. I feel a lot better having looked up the chart and at least I know that it is within a normal range. Like I said you guys are terrific!
