First trimester weight gain
I'd love to know how much weight people have gained in their first trimesters. I'm currently 7 weeks and have already gained 4lbs. I'm truly not eating differently than I was when I was losing. In fact, I'm eating better...getting in a lot more variety of veggies, etc.
This is insane!!! I'm so scared I'm going to gain all of the weight back that I've lost.

I love 13 lbs in the beginning but i did have terrible morning sickness. I did gained weight back. Total gained back 6 lbs. So technically im still 7 lbs lighter from when i get preggo.
Im almost 23 weeks and havent gained any weight in a few weeks. I lose a few gain a few but baby is still more than a week a head!!

Carrie - I hope that you don't gain much! I actually just had a brief moment of panic myself. I stood up to walk to the front office and realized that my pants were snug! I am wearing a size larger (couldn't button my 16s yesterday comfortably! ) so I wore 18s today and now they are snug! I am sure that it is just bloating but sheesh! I am only 4w5d.
I am kinda of in the same boat; gained about 5 pounds ( I am about a week ahead of you). Some days I get on scale it's not that much...it tends to go back and forth. I have been lucky (hope this isn't a jinks) but I have been one of the ones that haven't been sick. I have had a few moments from time to time; but not every day more like maybe once/twice a week, so I haven't been like others and lost weight due to illness. I am eating more because I am hungry more, but for the most part been sticking to heathier stuff.

I didn't gain anything in the first trimester and the first part of the 2nd BUT I ended up gaining 40lbs total! YIKES!! BUT... at 3 and half weeks after baby I had lost all of it, I don't know how or why but thank my lucky stars that I did! So it can be done, and I wrote on here and complained constantly about the weight gain because I was so obsessed with not being able to lose it after wards!
Just do the right things, eat right, know that you are doing what is best for you and that is all that you can do, and trust me the stress does no good for either you or baby!
Best of Luck!!

I didn't gain anything until my 3rd trimester and then it was only 2 lbs. But remember every pregnancy is different. Some will gain minimal, some will gain the normal 15-25 lbs and others will gain 25 +. We are all different. I know that it seems horrible to you that you've already gained 4 lbs but just know that once you have your LO your tool is still there and you can get whatever weight you gained off! You will just have to go back to the rules. Just eat healthy, drink plenty of water and you'll be fine!
Congrats!
Congrats!
It's probably mostly water weight at this point, so try not to fret too much. I am almost 10 weeks along and haven't gained anything, but that's got me nervous that I won't be able to gain anything the whole time!! I think pregnant women are just hard-wired to worry about something!! lol.
I keep telling myself to just continue eating as healthy as I have since surgery, increase my calories with good/whole foods, and just breathe. Stressing about weight gain (too much or too little) is not going to help either one of us, so let's just relax. ;)
Good luck to you!!

I gained weight 10 pounds my first trimester and now that I'm in the 2nd trimester I haven't gained that much. Every woman and every pregnancy is different. I try not to base my weight gain on others, BUT, it is very hard. I still have this hang up on gaining weight (god knows I don't want to end up where I was prior to RNY - 305 yikes!) but know I have to be healthy for this little guy growing inside me. Good luck to you and try to enjoy this ride.
