Bailey's Mommy!

Hey Girls -

First off congrats to all the baking mommas and new BFPS! I know I have missed alot - I barley even have time to touch the computer anymore. Bailey is now 2, Isabella just about 3 months and I am taking Psychology & History this semster. I am going back to school to be a L&D RN. I am so excited!!!! Thank god my PPD has seemed to fade away - that was a sucky way to spend most of my summer! Gotta love that Lexapro!

So - now the funky my body is playing games with me part. Ever since WLS I have gotten AF every 28 days on the dot. The three times she didn't arrive on day 28 I was pregnant. I had Bella on 6/18 and  I got my period back 28 days ago today. It was about 2 days long - started with brown spotting then dark red flow.  I started using OPKS to know when to STAY AWAY from hubby.... temping does work for me right now since I have to get up 5 times a night for Isabella. I useded them until day 14 and never fot a positive surge. never saw EWCM  - so figure I didn't ovulate last month. The last few days I have been crampy - like I felt when I was getting pregnant. I took a few First Response tests on CD 25 & 26  to make sure - they were BFN. Well today is CD28 and NO sign of her at all.  What do you all think? Has anyone else gone through this? How long for your body to get back to regular? I don't think I could be pregnant. Hubby as some MAJOR swimmer issues. While I know it is possible - I know we will have to work and timing really well and that it may take a while when we are ready to start TTCing again.

Any suggestions? Ideas? Advice?? All welcome :)

Dawn

*** Update***
I had to sneak out of the house and go to target to buy a test. I took it in Target bathroom ( I know I am so ghetto!!! LOL!) and it was a BFN.  I am relieved, not ready to join the Baking Club again just yet.... Bella is just getting to the point where she sleeps for 4 or more hours! LOL! So, guess it is just my body figuring it all out. If AF hasn't arrived I will be talking to my NP at my appointment next week. Thanks for the responses ladies. I appreciate it :)

I would definately test again and then give it a week and if she still hasnt shown test again. You're ovulation time may have been later.

I would test again. That being said my doctors have always told me it takes a good year for your hormones to adjust.

Thanks ladies - I guess I am just nervous because last time I got pregnant on my 3rd cycle after Bailey - then again on my 3rd cycle after my miscarriage. I haven't gone on BC yet because my Doc was afraid to jack with my emotions and hormones too much after putting me on the PPD meds - I am supposed to go see her about the BC meds next week.....

Hi Dawn--

Wow, Isabella is 3 months old....already? It's good to see your avatar here again and I wanted to let you know I've missed you!

Sorry to hear about the late AF...can't help there as I'm still pregnant and haven't experienced AF post-baby.

All my best,
