typically when does your OB want to hear from you?

I believe i was around 6-8 weeks when i was first seen.

JMO:  I would call back and tell them you made a mistake (LIE) and you are late.  So you can go ahead and get in and it will ease your mind some.

Here they have you wait till 10 weeks for the paperwork appointment and the second visit the one with the doctor involved and all is about 12 weeks. I think they are all so different. I am just way excited for your BFP!!

I think it is... unfortunately!   My OB does the same thing and then they won't see you until your 8 weeks along. 

Mine will schedule as soon as I get a positive hpt.  But your not seen until 8 weeks.

I called the OB before the pee on the stick was dry, and they set me up for my appt for a week from then.  Then after they saw me in the office, the set up an ultrasound for 2 weeks from then.  I did have a US in the ER and believe me, at 4-5 weeks you wont see a thing usually, they couldn't even see a sac, so that wont tell you much.  My US was at 7.5 weeks and you could see the little heartbeat flickering away!  So I'm guessing having you wait til at least 6-8 weeks is pretty standard

i tested postive before i even missed my period... i ended up making my appt for 4 weeks 2 days...( oops) and ive gone back every 2 weeks since!

Mine wanted me to come in the day after I called (which was the day I peed positive... and I was about 1 week late). I was leaving for vacation so I had to wait until today. My history is so jacked up that even if they weren't eager, I'd have insisted on coming in asap. I have thousands of questions. I feel like I'm the last person in the world that should be pregnant.... PCOS, hypothyroid, past history of pregnancy induced high blood pressure, and so many other things.

I know I didn't get in until 8 weeksish. This time I hope the get me in soon so I feel "safe". Good luck with more waiting to see the Dr.

I mentioned that when I called earlier today and also mentioned that my OB wanted to do one at 7 weeks and a few days, and the phone nurse or assistant or whatever she is was like let me look..... ohhh..... hummmm..... lets schedule you earlier for an US (i guess normal is 12 weeks AHHHH) so I have my intake apt on the 29th and my US on the 5th of Oct.
