So I had my OB appointment on Friday...

Have to take extra supplements... on TOP of prenatal, extra folic acid, now I have to also take mag and potassium.... with my fioricet (headaches), phenergan, zoloft, and a few others...

I am waiting for results on my CBC (craving ice... "could be" that my iron is low) and my glucose test...

Jamison's heartbeat was 140... Good.

But my "Braxton Hicks" are KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!!  I have these cramps that feel like im getting ready to start my period AND my whole uterus gets so tight... it feels like a 500 lb man is sitting on my uterus.   The pregnancy books say these are "painless contractions"... my A$$!!  lol

Never had SO many "complications" when I was pregnant with my son...

Am I the only one who is having these....??? Isnt it TOO early to be having BH???

I still have 92 days till my C-section..... what the heck?!?!?!?!

I have had 2 braxton hicks so far and they felt so weird, not really painful, just "why is my stomach a hard mass?" weird. Glad everything else is pretty much ok...Have a good week!

For my second pg the bh are more uncomfortable...but during a non stress test they told me they were actually contractions. Cramps and tightness like you describe. They took me off work for pre term labor at 28 weeks. (I have a very physical job.)

Make sure to drink lots of water and when they happen lay on your left side. Dehydration contributes to the crampiness and discomfort. Shari

I am actually having ALOT of water intake.. mainly because of the amount of ice I have been eating...   i only get some sort of relief after I have been laying down for awhile.

Even sitting down helps a alittle but it is still very painful...

I've been having these so-called "painless" BH since 15 weeks.  BS!  They stop me in my tracks!  I actually get so tight that I can feel it in my face.  I get flushed and it's almost hard to breathe they are so tight.  I get them EVERY time I get up, sit down, go upstairs, go downstairs, get in the car, walk to the kitchen, bend over, get out of bed....YOU NAME IT.  I get them all night long in my sleep.  Talked to the OB and he said that they aren't changing my cervix a bit but if they get "rhythmic" to call him.

I have an ultrasound Wednesday so we'll see if they've changed my cervix since last week, but I"m doubtful.

Good luck and hope they ease up for you!!
