Think I might ought to introduce myself...
OK Ladies, I've been lurking for a few weeks and didn't want to post because dh and I decided we "wouldn't try TO, but wouldn't try NOT to, either." So I was afraid that posting might jinx me in some way or stress dh out that I was overly eager, etc.
I had rny in May 2008. We have two little boys, ages 5 and 7, and I really thought we were done as dh is an only child and having two was a little bit of a stretch for him. But to my surprise, when I decided to bring it up one last time, he said OK. So I had my IUD removed in July. We decided to try to NOT for my first cycle. I was looking forward to Sept, because even though we "weren't trying," a woman knows, right? Well, apparently maybe not so much. We ended up visiting the in-laws during the weekend I thought I would be fertile, so there was no BDing going on there. ;) But now I'm thinking my assumptions/calculations might have been off. The evidence so far:
1. I've been awake for four hours and I've peed four times already. It's been was like this all weekend.
2. I'm constipated even though I take a softener every day of the world. (TMI...sorry)
3. I watched the movie The Women last night and SOBBED...a little high strung?!
So....I'll take a test in a couple of days...want to wait as long as I can possibly stand to. But in the meantime, I thought I should stop stalking and join in, just in case. ;)

It was the Mirena, and luckily, I haven't had any real side effects of having it removed other than really heavy AF. However, several years ago I was using Depo-Provera injections and when I stopped taking them I started having severe migraines. So I guess it makes sense that it could be the change in hormones. I hope it gets better soon! Chronic headaches and toddlers don't mix well!
That would be cool if this is it. I 'knew' my fertile time too, from ttc #1 for 5 years. We did the deed 4 days prior to my 'time' because I was sick and here I am 31 weeks pg with #2. It can happen...those guys can live up to 5 days. And, unless you are doing ovulation prediction kits or temping...you could have been off a bit on your ovulation day. Most people assume if they have a 28 day cycle it would be o time at 14 days....but for me it was day 18.
Either way, good luck! And if it isn't this cycle...now that you are 'out of the closet'...come join us girls on my friday TTC post. Shari

Welcome Natalie,
Hope you are able to hit it head on right away, if not, this is a great place to talk through your journey. You'd be surprized how normal all those "crazy things" you think are :o)
