HAHAHA---I'm freeeeee(not pregnancy related)
Okay...I'm not a big co-sleeping person. I have nothing against it, if it's done safely.....I just have sleep issues. I wake very easily and do not fall back to sleep. There are times when I wake up at 1:30 and do not go back to sleep until the next night. When I had my apnea test, the doc said I didn't have apnea, but that my brainwaves are superhigh during sleep....that I'm basically on high alert. he said it's very common in people who were abused as children and in veterans.
Well, Niko didn't start out sleeping with us. I wouldn't allow it because he was so little--it freaked me out. Around nine months, he got sick(that weird fever thing) and Dave was working a lot and very tired. I was also pregnant(the last one) and feeling very bad. Soooo- in our bed he came. I haven't slept right since. I tried CIO about a month ago and he was mortified. It broke his heart. Then, last week he decided he was going to be a trout. We didn't know where he was going--so I didn't sleep at all. He had also started throwing temper tantrums when we got into bed. That was it. Dave had drill this weekend. I put him in his bed, he fussed for 5 min, and went to sleep. The next night it was two min and last night....NO CRYING....just snuggled in and went to sleep.
HAHAHAHA---I'm FREEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Now if I could get my sleep pattern right before I get as big as a barn(hopefully).
In other news, tomorrow is another ultrasound. 12 wks 5 days. I'll update you all.
Hugs,
Angie

Sweet- I am also someone who suffers from not being able to sleep if there is anything going on in the room. If DH snores, if he kicks, if the darn dog gets in bed, if it's light, yadda, yadda. Sleep glorious sleep. I sure hope you get some much needed rest...before you round out..LOL WOW almost 13 weeks already- I remember wanting to throw confetti at 13 weeks- between making it there and knowing soon the super sleepies would be over.
I'm another light sleeper. Makes my DH crazy...doesn't matter how quiet he is, there's no way he can get in the room w/o me knowing it. I even know when my cat comes in the room because I hear the tiny click when she pushes the door. Lights? Forget about it. The one on my AC makes me nuts. If I could climb up there and cover it up w/something, I would. Then there's the light on my CD player (which conveniently reflects into the mirror across the room, giving me a double effect), the alarm system box is in my bedroom & it has a light, then there's a light on the two way emergency radio, and the alarm clock. I have to cover up the alarm clock w/my box of kleenexes, then put a pillow over my eyes and ears to tune out anything around me in order to sleep through the night...or at least until someone/some thing comes in my room. I also am weird that I have to sleep on the side of the bed facing the door...and I have to go to sleep physically facing the door...not w/my back to it.
Glad you're finally free to sleep as best you can through the night. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I feel you on that one. I had posted a few months back that my DD would not sleep in her own bed any longer. Well when DH got home he started putting her to bed and she gave him NO trouble at all what so ever. If I even walk by the room she screams Mama every time. But lays right down for him, whatever works. I am so excited that she has been sleeping 12-13 hours at night in HER OWN BED!
