Nearly 32 Weeks Now!
Hi Ladies--
Thanks for paging me Liz....I feel special!
Things are great with baby and me. At his weekly appointment he scored perfectly (again) and I'm good on all my vitals. I'm up a total off 22 lbs. so I am now 237...still no swelling, back pain, or the big H's. (Knock on wood). Once you've had 'roids, you don't want them again! This week will be the 32 week scan which I'm told is quite in-depth, so I'm very much looking forward to it.
I admit, I've sort of fallen off my normal shedule and hence haven't been checking in here all that much. The past week has been non-stop with vairous tasks (car shopping, home improvements) and then this weekend my in-laws hosted a great shower for me. I had one in my hometown a few weeks ago that had about 13 guests...and this shower was more formal with 30+ guests. I'm totally overwhelmed by the generosity and thoughtfulness of our friends and family. I've get to fully process all that's gone on this week...but once I do, I plan on posting a few photos.
One of the best gifts was my husband's aunt's Paddington Bear. She included her actual Paddington Bear, a hardcover copy of the book, and a Paddington Bear quilt that she made. Another Aunt (but on my side) gave us a similar gift that was themed and included a homemade quilt. As a quilter myself (straight-line machine quilting...nothing fancy), I totall appreciate all the time and energy then put into the quilts.
I'm still exhausted from the great shower and it's aftermath....so I will wrap it up now but post again in the next few days once I've come down from this high!
