I had one right before surgery. Planned it that way too. I was in the hospital and got it again. And yes, I have/had PCOS.

PCOS here too...I got mine about 2 months out them again at 6 then 8, then every month till 1 year when I officially got knocked up. Pre-op I had one about every 6-8 months unless I went in for Progesterone injections.

I got my period about 2 weeks after sugery - but I was on BC pills so that helped. I am also a PCOS sufferer.

I got af 2-3 weeks after my surgery, but have noticed it only last 2 days and is more like spotting than flowing.I'm not sure what is going on.I also have pcos and underactive thyroid.Since were talking about af ,thought I'd ask about my issue as well.Is something wrong? my surgery was April 29 ,2008.I've had plenty of time for my hormones to regulate.

Does the six weeks of constant bleeding and lochia immediately following birth count as a period? Not sure if that's normal but that's how it went down for me.

Supposedly you're super fertile post childbirth so be careful to not get pregnant again.
