Anyone want to join me for the next 500 miles??

I am 17.5 miles from hitting 500 miles. My iPod has malfunctioned and not counted at least one of my walks which sucks but it is only 4-8 miles off. At the rate I walk, I will go over 500 miles on Saturday. So does anyone want to walk the next 500 with me?? Not as a competition or race but just to keep each other motivated.

My current walks are about 30 miles a week. 4.25 miles a day every day. In the last 500 miles I have lost over 63 pounds. I fully expect the next 500 miles to get the last 47 pounds off.

If you would like to participate, either make a ticker with miles walked or post it every Monday with your weekly total under the WEIGH IN thread.

Way to go!    And now I have that song in my head.     If I could walk 500 miles then I would walk 500 more........

Once I get to Sofia, where it won't be so hot/congested/polluted, and more walkable...I may try to motivate my @$$ to join in with you.  I'm seriously hoping that during the spring/summer/fall, it'll be possible to ride a bike back and forth to work.  I actually like riding a bike so it wouldn't feel like  punishment like going to the gym does here.

You're inspring how you've stuck to it...and the results you've gotten from it.  You truly have earned every pound lost...you've worked so hard to get there.

Last week I added a morning walk/jog to my routine of going to the gym 3-4 times a week. (30 minutes) Hoping it will make me feel even better and help get back into shape. I don't know the route I'm driving now, how far it is. I will have to mark it off with my car and see.
