Picky Eater or Tummy Troubles?

Hi Ladies....

I need your input.....and bare with my first time mommy ignorance (again).....

Nathan has been doing pretty good on solids (although he makes the most sourest face at times)....and I have recently been introducing table foods....well, Wed night was a VERY long night as I believe I fed him too much....I had to change his bedding 4 times and give him a late night bath due to a lot of projectile vomitting...I immediately began him on pedialyte....

Ever since then (4 days now) he is not interested in anything besides his bottle. Daycare said he ate VERY little on Thur and Friday too....I tried diff things this weekend too...a little hand bisquit, applesauce, jello, diff solid, rice cereal (which he usually never swats away), a small mac and cheese....he barely tried it...and did not like most of it....he did eat some ww bread balls (took that lesson from Lexa)....but I had to feed him.....

He has no temp, many wet and a few dirty diapers, a little whiny but mostly his congenial self.....so, do you think he is just going through this since he got sick the other night or is he gearing up to be a finnicky (sp) eater? I am very certain teeth are coming too with his non stop drooling and white I see on the gums...could this be it too?

TIA for your thoughts....

Ann

Matthew doesn't have any teeth yet...he's working on them.  But my SIL said everytime my neice was teething she didn't want to eat unless it was cold.  Like popsicles, watermelon....nothing warm.  So that might be what it is....IDK.  I hope whatever it is that your LO gets over it soon!  Maybe some BTDT moms will be able to give you some insight!

Maybe he just had a little bug and is not feeling 100%. I would back off on the food a little bit and then try again in a couple of days. It could also be that he was allergic to something he ate. At this point it is really trial and error. My youngest did not want anything to do with food when he was little and now that he is 4 he the best eater of all 3 of my kids.
