Monday Weigh In
The picture says it all I am crying (really).
I followed my points all week except 1, walked everyday 3 miles and one day 5 miles only missed one day and I still weigh 235. Last week I cheated and weighed Tuesday and was 232. I am so upset all I can do is sit here and cry. I was down A LOT more at 5 weeks Postpartum with Nylah this is so depressing, I am going to crawl under a rock now.

Sorry to hear that Vanessa :( Don't be too hard on yourself. From what I've heard every baby and pregnancy is different so I am sure that the post partum stuff is the same. Also now you are further our from surgery - hang in there!
The scale was not kind to me either - I am up a pound to 196. Actually it was nicer then I thought that it was going to be - I am so bloated I expected a few pounds. Even had to wear the bigger stretch waist khaki's to work today. I'll try to push extra water today and see if that helps.

I am so sorry that you didn't show a loss. I am sure if you had one of those body fat scales that you would show a loss of fat though. Exercise has an immediate negative affect on my weight. Building muscle in the long run makes us burn the fat better. Maybe Monday isn't the best day for you to weigh. My mother keeps trying to convince me to weigh a different day because on the weekend we tend to have different eating patterns. Whatever you do do not give up. You are SURE to have a loss this week.
My weight last week was 178.4 which was up 1.8 from the previous weigh in. This week I lost exactly 1.8 to put me right back to 176.6. It would have been nice to be an ounce lower. I need to lose 1.1 more pounds to get a BMI under 30.

Thank you Jennifer, I was actually thinking a little of water retention as well. I feel really bloated in the stomach area and for some reason had a feeling that my weigh in was going to be not in my favor. I am feeling a little better now, and I have decided against ordering Dominos which I was going to do to sabotage myself. Hell with that, my fat self will not win, I am eating very little carbs today and going for my walk!!
I agree with Jennifer. Monday might not be the best day for you and exercise helps build muscle, and even though you might not see a loss on the scales, you might see a loss in inches.
I started following the WW plan as best I could last Wednesday. I am tired of being depressed about my weight. I started at 168.X (can't remember for the life of me what was after the "." but I know it wasn't a zero) and this morning I was 163.9. So, a little over a 4 lb loss. Even though I am extremely happy with that, I sat at 163 for a while about 2 months ago. I can't wait to get down to 158, which is where I was at my 6 week check-up when I was pregnant. Then, my ultimate goal is 150 and I will be ecstatic!
