Semi-OT: Subaru Forester or Outback?
Hi Ladies--
After many LOOOOOOOOONG discussions, my husband has finally realized that what I've been saying for the past 8 months is true: My current car will no longer meet our family's needs once our baby arrives. I love my 2003 Honda Accord...I really, really, truly do....however, it is not an appropriate vehicle for transporting a baby and a large breed dog. The dog can't be in the back seat near the baby, and at 84 lbs., Elsie's a hazard in the front passenger seat. So, I need a vehicle with a cargo area where the baby and dog can have their own areas and a grate/barrier between them.
I wanted to like the new Honda CRV but I did not. : ( (Especially since my college roommate is married to the deal-closer for the #1 Honda dealer in our area and he hooks me up with mega-discounts!) So, we tried the Subaru Forester and I seriously had feelings of lust for it. Woke up the morning after the test drive feeling pitter-patter in my heart at that thought of having one in my garage!
We are looking at other vehicles too...but at this point, it's the top candidate.
Does anyone here own a newer (2009 or 2010) Subaru Forester SUV or Outback Wagon? If so, would you share you experience? Pretty Please? Feel free to PM me if you'd prefer.
