Update on the BFP 8-29 & bella band ?
Well, I posted here a few weeks ago about letting my husband know we were expecting and that he wasn't as excited as I was , more terrified. Well, he is coming around now and we have our first appt. on the 21st . So, my question is how is that bella band? I have somewhat of a panni, not big noticeable to me especially. Does that help with concealing it?
I bought a generic bella band and I loved it! In fact I bought a couple so I'd always have one clean to wear.
I was able to wear my "regular" pants until 4-5 months and then I switched a size up (but regular pants, not maternity) with the bella band.
Maternity pants never worked for me because of my HUGE THIGHS .
I don't think it did too much concealing.... it's not that tight.... but then again the panni wasn't my issue so maybe it will help you ?
Good luck on the 21st - keep us updated!

I felt that it helped some with my panni. Mine is not too bad either although bothersome to me! I thought that it made things look smoother. Once I got maternity pants I fell in love with the secret belly fit for the same reason. They are really the only type of pants I like to wear when going out and about. Glad to hear that things are going well with DH and that he is coming around! Keep us posted!

I got the generic version at Target and it was great before my miscarriage in June (I was 11 weeks) I was growing out of my regular jeans almost from conception I swear. This time around I got jeans a size larger (trying to hide it from the folks at work a bit longer this time) but the band was great and I did feel like it smoothed out my panni a bit - mine isn't large but bothers me.
I got a belly band from Motherhood Maternity and it helped me stay in my regular jeans for another 2+ months. It was pretty nice! The only thing is I had to adjust it every time I got up from my desk or out of the car etc... which got really old so over the weekend I bought some maternity pants. I really like them but sometimes I feel like they are falling off of me because nothing is really holding them up since my bump isn't huge yet. I guess I'll just have to deal w/ it! haha!
