First Ultrasound tomorrow...feeling a bit nervous!
Hi, I haven't been around here much recently as I've been feeling pretty rotten, but have been following some of your posts!
I have my first ultrasound tomorrow, and I am feeling SO nervous . I have had 2 previous pregnancies pre-op, the first of which was a blighted ovum, and the second pregnancy I lost at 20 weeks. I am just so scared that when I go tomorrow that I won't see anything or there will be a problem.... I know I should try to relax but I'm finding it so difficult . I am nearly 180lbs lighter now than I was last time I was pregnant, and am much healthier. My problems with my last pregnancy were attributed to my weight, so that is one less thing for me to worry about now...but I just can't relax......anybody have any advice??
Many thanks in advance!
Vicky

I understand the angst and worry pre-ultrasound. Despite having MMC's, I was still a worry wart before every u/s - even when I knew the baby was fine. Just try to keep your mind really busy (crossword puzzles, thinking of favorite song lyrics, prayers, etc). I hope the evening passes quickly and I look forward to your update tomorrow.
