MMmmm okay where to begin. I see that most of us are talking about morning sickness while being pregnant. Can anyone tell me what the signs are of morning sickness? I have no idea if I am pregnant or what is going on so I figured I would come to this board and post this too. I have not been feeling good ooh for about a week now. Everytime I eat my stomach turns horrbile..I mean everytime I eat and drink. Seems that no matter what it is..makes me sick. So needless to say I have not been eating nor drinking that much because I get sick. I dont throw u*****thing but I will gag or my stomach does flips and if I lay down and relax then I feel better. However it seems that when I get walking around and do something like cooking or dishes or just something around the house im getting sick to my stomach. And like I said I have no appeitete at all. I know this is not good for me...anyone ever had this problem before being pregnant or not pregnant?

I can answer this from personal expierence. Morning sickness like feelings are common after this surgery...when it pertains to food. After a while anything cooking would send me into dry heaves and gagging till I got away from the offending smell. Now that I am pregnant, my morning sickness last ALL day and will react at anything...a tv commercial, a conversation, a smell, a certain color, just being tired, anything. So if you are feeling like that only when food is around then it could just be one of those fine print thingys we hear so little about being associated with this.

But just on a side note. Not eating and drinking, change that immediately regardless of how crappy you feel. I was feeling so sick because of morning sickness that I didnt realize how low my intake of fluids had dropped. Went to my prenatal visit yesturday and the first thing my doctor says to me is "you are severly dehydrated drink this" and hands me a bottle of gatorade. The only reason I wasnt sent to get an IV is I get this reaction to them (my hands swell up like footballs) and I really didnt want that. So since then I have been gagging down gatorade and water in massive amounts. Try and avoid this, its not fun and honestly I shouldve noticed the signs (dry mouth, fatigue, light headedness when standing, etc...watch out for them).

You are pretty early out!   Maybe it's your new tummy?  I didn't have MS that bad with my last pregnancy but this twin one kicked my butt for about a month.

Good luck!  Were you trying to get pregnant?  I got pregnant early out myself yet wasn't trying.  I was still able to eat quite a bit and gained 50 lbs!  LOL...

Good luck!

Go****'s hard to tell if it would be caused by your new surgery or pregnancy. I found that if I didn't eat I would get realllly nauseous! ! You should take a test to check because until you do its really up in the air! Good luck!
