I am now 18 weeks with a significant baby bump and massive tatas (back to my pre op bras) but, somehow, I have not gained at all! I was up 5 lbs for a bit but its all gone again. I don't know where its all coming from. I'm not getting any smaller that I can see.....and I'm eating like crazy compared to pre-preg. My BMI is 22 so I don't have that much reserve to work with. I just want to make sure my baby is getting what it needs. How long did it take for you guys to start gaining? And do you have any suggestions. I've added alot of carbs back into my diet and don't eat sugar free anything....fortunately I don't dump on much. But maybe there are high cal things I'm not considering. What are the typical RNY sabbotage foods? This is the weirdest reversal! Not being able to GAIN...who could have thunk it?

I only gained 2 lbs my entire pregnancy  and I was told I had a massive baby bump.  I was constantly asked if I was having twins.  As long as your little one is growing on target I wouldn't worry about weight.  Just worry about eating healthy stuff and taking your vitamins, drinking plenty of water.  You know doing all the good stuff and you'll be fine!!

Here I am at about 36 weeks.  I went for another 2 weeks then delivered a healthy 6 lb 10 oz little boy over 6 months ago!  I am now 30 pounds lighter than I was before I got pregnant.  Everyone tells me that pregnancy really did me good...LOL  I was at a stable weight when I got pregnant.

Thanks Ladies. That does help alot! I think I'll get back on the smoothie train again. Right now I eat alot of cheese, yogurt, and peanut buter for protein plus tons of fruit and fruit juce cause thats what I crave most these days. I'm glad to know that some people only gain a couple pounds total. That is very comforting! I go in for my 20 week ultrasound next thursday so I can make sure the bean is progressing appropriately.  Plus I get to find out if it's a bean or beanette so thats neat. Thanks again to all of you!
