Ok...is it just me?

Ok...I thought that things would get better by now, but I feel like this little peanut is sucking the life out of me.  I went from having no appetite to being hungry all of the time.  I have started eating more often, but everytime I step on the scale it goes down.  I am also feeling really drained and kinda week.  I am thinking that maybe the baby is just going thru a major growth spurt right now or something?  I have an appt. with my OB next week, so I will talk to her about it.

Has anyone else felt like this at 12+ weeks?

Fatigue is common...and it takes a lot of effort to eat every couple of hours to keep your calories up for energy and baby. Another thing...have you had your vitamin levels checked lately. Common lows would be iron, b-12, maybe d....and those will all make you weaker too. I suggest having your blood drawn monthly and taking lots of naps Shari

Thanks...I am definitely going to ask my OB to check my levels this week.  I laughed at your nap comment because I was soooo tired at work the other day that I closed my door and took a nap on my desk....LOL.  I felt so much better though.

it is just not YOU....although I did not get nauseous barely at all....I was major tired.....first and third trimester....so I was told to take advantage of every ounce of energy you have during second trimester....I surely did as I was wiped out the other two....hang in there...it is all worth it :)

Thanks...I have been thinking that I better get busy during this 2nd trimester because I may not be able to move by the 3rd...LOL.

my bariatric doc says to have a blood test every 3 months to check vitamin levels, have you had yours tested yet?   It's probably that the baby is just growing really fast still and IS sucking every ounce of energy from you and making you eat more to help him/her grow!   I'll just be grateful when this nausea is gone and I actually WANT to eat again (I'm 10 wks).   This is my 3rd pregnancy and hopefully my last!!  :)

Hit goal weight of 140 at 13 months out from RNY!! 130 pounds GONE!

I am hungry from the moment I wake til the moment I go to bed.  I have to keep myself from getting up in the middle of the night and eating something.

Well...my hunger comes in phases.  I may be starving one day and not really able to stomache too much the next.  On a positive note, I have lost the 5 lbs that I gained initially.  I just have to make sure that the baby is getting what it needs to grow properly.

Every day of this pregnancy is like that!  Well, except my scale is going UP.  :-)  At first I couldn't gain weight no matter what I ate.  Now, it's like pre-preg.  I eat, it goes up.  I'm hungry all the time too!  I just want to shovel it all in.  UGH!
