I had RNY 2 years and 9 months ago.  I got great results and found myself for the first time in my life wearing a size 12.  I now have a 4 1/2 month old baby girl and find myself 30 lbs heavier.  I am having such a hard time getting motivated to loss the wieght.  I'm having the feelings that the old me had.  Starting each day with the intentions of starting over, drinking my protein, eating good and not snacking.  The next thing I know i am in the pantry with a bag of doritos and a few oreos.  I feel like I am slowing going to slip back to that 330lbs. person who I hated.  Does anyone have any suggestions how to regain the control I so desperatly need?  HELP

Well first off, get the crap that's tempting you out of the house.  You can't eat it if it's not there for you to eat.

Second, if you don't exercise, start.   You may not think you have a minute in the day to spare, but trust me, you'll find the time.  Maybe you will have to get up an hour earlier to work out,  but so be it.  For me, I wasn't a work out at home type of person.   I had a gym membership and a personal trainer.  It helped to have someone standing behind me telling me that not only could I do just 5 more crunches,  but to get off my ass and MOVE!    That might not work for you.  If not, get the WII Fit or Tae-Bo DVD's, or whatever you think is going to work best.   Hell take the baby in the stroller and walk.

The worst thing you can do at this point is to beat yourself up about what you did yesterday.  What's it going to do for you?  Nothing.   So stop punishing yourself.   You have all the tools you need in place, use them.
