Carseats for a Big Boy Baby !
Yah - it is kinda ridculous to have to buy ANOTHER car seat so soon. I told my husband we should get the 32lbs one to begin with....but noooooooooooooooo - he never listens to me.
Oh well. As long as this one we get works for the next year or two.
You bring up a good point - about length. I need to be looking at that too. I think Cooper is 25" already.

My oldest weighed 18 pounds at 3 months also. We bought a convertable car seat also. That was 9 years ago so I am sure they are different now. I bought one that had a bar that came down over the front. It was padded of I loved it when he got older he would use it like a little table. One thing my peditrian told me was to be sure to keep him rear facing.

It's a "Bumba" seat ! He loves it! It makes him feel like a big boy and keeps him engaged in what we are doing.
You're not supposed to put it up on tables or counters.... but I sometimes do so he can help me cook dinner or something.
It is a must-have in my mind!
