pregnant with blood clot / sludge???????????????

so early in my first trimester i was gushing blood on a few occasions and they said i had a previa and had a blood clot by  the tip of my cervix...needles to say its been 2-3 months and it still hasnt passed...everytime i go for ultrasound they tell me its still there and it will pass or my body will just absorb it. so i went for my big ultrasound at the hospital to a maternal fetal specialist and he spoke with my doctor...and doctor called me yesterday and said i definately dont have a previa and what they thought was a clot is actually sludge??????????? anyone else have this? i tried googling it but didnt find much? anyfeedback would be appreciated. i have an appointment on tuesday with ob doc to start my progesterone shots...so we will talk then...but i just have anxiety cause i dont understand this....
