What is going on????

Alright, so the past 3 out of 4 times I have O'd on Clomid. Well this was my 5th round and I am on CD31 today.  I have not been doing the OPK's because I figured the past 3 times I have O'd I have had super sore nipples, so figured that was my sure sign of Ovulation.  So today I noticed I am spotting a little bit not brown or anything just regular blood. My cervix is about med/firm. Anyway, I'm freaking out because it's like..... I never got the sore nipps so..... I didn't O. I mean unless I just didn't get the sore nipps and I did O.  But I wouldn't be bleeding or starting AF AT ALL unless I Ovulated, right???? So....... whats the deal? Has this happened to anyone?  I guess I would know more by waiting until tomorrow to see if the flow gets heavier.  But I am still confused because did not have sign of O.  TIA Ladies!  Julia

you can have af without ovulating.... i really dont know much about ttc

well you did have the ewcm on cd 10 and DTD in time if that's when you did in fact ovulate.   I would wait and see what the next few days holds for you to see if it's af coming or what.   BTW, I love your new avie pic and your new hair color, lookin good Juliaaaaa!   GL!  

Oh and sorry about chatting with you on AOL the other day, it seems that after I type the first sentence to you, AOL IM freezes up on me and I can type anything else or get your msgs!!   So I just had to log off AOL.  Stupid computer!!  

Yes...you would still get a period....the AF and the ovulation are two separate steps.  Your uterus prepares the lining of the uterus in case you get pg...then if you do ovulate and don't get pg...the lining peels away causing AF...and if you don't ovulate, your hormones will still tell your body that it's time to start over, causing the peeling of the lining again.

If you did not ovulate, it would be considered an 'anovulatory' month.

If you haven't gotten it already, try to get a book called 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility.' It's pretty good at explaining exactly what's going on inside.

Well,the spotting turned into medium and then a heavy flow.  So I guess it's AF>  but weird thing, I normally get HORRIBLE lower back pain like the 1st 3 days of Af.  Nothing...... (which is SO nice).  But normally I am a crap load more emotional, and a freaking train wreck.  Not so much.  This is WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!!
