FRIDAY TTC POST (who is makin a baby?)

Hi girls. Thanks to Sara for posting for me last week. Hubby and I woke up one morning and said lets go to vegas!! So, off we went.

We have a lot going on this week with everyone, I am anxious to hear at least a couple of bfp's!!

I know there have been some rough times for you girls. I want you all to know that I am praying hard for each of you. I have faith that your day will come. I know I am pg with #2, but I will never ever forget the roller coaster ride of the ttc journey. Please know that I am an PM away if you need me.

And for all you girls...if you see someone is down and out be sure to offer some encouraging words. We have all been there. I saw like 200 hits last week so I know everyone cares to follow the journeys, but a few words of encouragement meant so much to me in my ttc journey, I know the girls here would appreciate it too.

And I know there probably needs some changes to the list, sometimes I am taking educated guesses on what you would like your description to say. Just let me know okay.

Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

Thank you for the kind words! I'm pretty sure this cycle is a bust. My hubby and I both had the flu!!! And of course It was right when I was ovulating! ARGH! There is always next month!!!

I am in my 2WW and feel horrible! lol I am nauseous, tired, skin break outs really bad, metallic taste in my mouth, sore breasts, and did I mention nauseous? lol I am hoping that it is all for a good reason! I have a good feeling about this cycle and will be testing in the morning. So as much as I like being on this list I hope to leave it tomorrow! I'll keep you all posted.

Im in 2WW CD 28 DPO 12 spotted some today think AF is coming who knows with me tho.

Happily TTC #1 Since 3/09 after MC 6/09 

I think I am out for this month: Temp Thursday 98.54 Temp Today (Saturday) 98.03  

Go ahead and put me back on the TTC list, though we won't be trying until I get a regular cycle again.  I'm hoping that will be in 4-6 weeks so we will be able to start up again soon.

Shari, I see what you mean about description. You can put on after loss.

Hubby and I have been doing our best even tho it is a little early. I might take some late showers this week since acording to one site I will be fertile this week. LOL
