moms of girls...
Pretty common fears/worries, hun! I couldn't understand why I was worried about having my daughter when I was a GIRL too...but it's just fear of the unknown. I don't think one gender is easier or better than the other. They both took a few weeks before I felt really comfortable with the changes and washing, and all that. But let me tell you, my daughter (though skinny as a rail and very cutesy), can hold her own against her BIG brother and any other person, for that matter. She loves all the boy stuff (dirt and cars and loud truck sounds) just as much as the delicate things. She's the one I have to remind to be "gentle" to baby Everett. I have to remind her to be careful when she 'wrestles' her dad - he's gotten big bruises from her enthusiastic jumps and kicks.
No matter what, you'll be amazed at how natural it is to care for the baby and you'll find that the gender doesn't matter. The baby's personality will tell you best how to react and what he/she enjoys. I honestly don't see the boy/girl thing in my kids as much as their own personality traits (affectionate, independent, funny, etc).
Won't worry about the small stuff, they will start talking back and testing the boundaries and then you'll miss those in-utero days when everything was easy LOL
Hugs,
