Hello Ladies:
I haven't announced my pregnancy to anyone but my hubby (of course)-and now this MB.. We want to wait until 1st trimester is over which will be early Oct. We have had our first ultrasound this week and we have a wonderful lil bean with a great heartbeat. This is my first pregnancy and I had RNY five years ago this Oct. (Losing and keeping off over 120 pounds). Not only did I have that; I also had an tummy tuck (with anchor cut). This was 2 1/2 years ago. I have been steady weight within five pounds for the past year or lil more.
Here is my question-
1) Has anyone had the tummy tuck with anchor and have any issues with skin stretching? I don't have feeling to touch the skin from my (new) belly button to the top of my panty line however, I have this funny feeling under the skin...I know two places have grown in the last several weeks; my waistline (pants don't fit) and my breast....I am already up one bra size. so anyone have a funny feeling around where you had a tummy tuck?

i had a lower body lift in 2006... my last pregnancy hurt like hell towards the end... i really thought that i was just going to burst... i didnt... this time i can already feel tightness ( 12 weeks) ... the good news was... i didnt feel ANY contractions... and i didnt have an epi...not sure if its related.. nor did they ever register ( bad part)... congrats!

CONGRATULATIONS on your WL, success and now being PG....how exciting...we are almost surgery buddies...I also just had my first baby (well 10 months ago tomorrow) and I had a tummy tuck anchor cut....
I did UNFORTUNATELY gain about 35 pounds back after my TT but still felt a lot of pressure at times during my pregnancy and am sure it had to do with the stomach muscle tightening....everyone is different but I did feel tightness....unfortunately the other thing is that I do not think I looked very cute pregnant...lol...in that I mean my tummy looked more boxy than the cute little roundness....again, that is just me...
