Vitamin Question Girls!!!

Okay, I have been taking the same prenatals for five years. I love them because they are small and coated. I took them even when I wasn't pregnant because they are the only vitamins I could ever find that didn't make me sick.(even before WLS). Wellllll- they've been taken off the market. I have about two weeks left. I need a good chewable prenatal fast....that won't make me sick. What does everyone else take? I know there's one that's by script, but I don't know the name of it.

Also, I'm feeling icky off and on. The UTI is gone. My mind is playing tricks on me because the last baby died at 10.5 weeks. I'm almost 12 weeks now. I haven't felt any movement, which doesn't really mean anything...but I'm scared crazy about next Tuesday's ultrasound. My face is breaking out(which it didn't do with any of my other pregancies), and my boobs are getting rather large. It has just been so different than my other pregnancies. I keep trying to tell myself that maybe it's a girl and that's the reason. I'm just so worried.

Thanks
Angie

Keeping fingers crossed that all goes well next week!!

I take the walmart brand prenatal that I swallow - it is an "easily digestable" and my labs have been perfect on it - as a matter of fact I was absorbing it so well I had to go from 2 to 1 a day.

Hi Angie,

I take a vitamin that is in powder form.  It tasts like citrus and you only have to use 2 oz of water to mix with it.  It is really very good and my levels have been spot on since I've been taking it - (April, 2009)

Here is the website and I copied the label below they are called Isotonix prenatal vitamins.  I hate swallowing the large pills they make me gag then there's the absorption thing so this works best for me.  Let me know if you try it what you think.

(they have a lot of other vitamins in powder form but you can look around on the site and see what you think.

Thanks for the well wishes, ladies. That powder vitamin looks pretty promising. I take an omega that is dissolved like that.

Good luck trying to find a chewable prental. I was on Pricare prenatal chewable and it went off the market. Then, every chewable that people gave me was not on the market. The only one left my OB could find was called Duet chewable and it was HORRIBLE!!!! The taste made me gag!

Now, I take the Target prental and it is smaller than the other ones I have tried. I believe I heard from Jo (who took them while pregnant with Jatzen). So, I went in tried and they are ok for me. With labband, I can't swallow large pills. These from target are about the largest I can swallow.

I'll try walmart and target brand....The same company that makes my chewable iron makes a multi. I'm going to compare that to my prenatals and maybe add the folic. I love my iron.

I wish the stores sold little sample packs.

If you find something, let me know. I had a hard time finding chewables when my prenatal chewable went off the market. Then, I would spend a co-pay and HATE the chewable they wanted me to try. So, it was down the drain with money. So, then I did folic acid and chewable multivitamin until I started these target brands.
