Well, like we all know after WLS our big boobies aint so big anymore and they tend
to sag like tea bags..LOL... ok so sorry, but my boobs aint what they used to be.
Anyways Im almost 31 weeks and I keep reading that Im supposed to be leaking milk
by now???  But not me and as much as I squeese just a litle tiny drop or two come out.
I really wanted to breast feed the Twins, I did it with my second child and I loved the experience, but it seems that this time around I wont be able to specialy with twins.... How the hell am I supposed to feed both of them with just a litle supply...awww sucks!
Im trying to look on the web to see anything about breast feeding twins after WLS but I thought I would come here first...
Any Ideas?

I also was watching the news and there is this new report about how mothers
that are having babies after WLS their new childres are less likely to be obese.... hmmm I wonder.

Well get back to me girls!

I am no expert but I have bee asking around. I think during pregnancy you are only supposed to leak colostrom them the real milk comes after the baby is born. I asked the question too about if I wasn't leaking anything does that mean I won't have a good supply ( before I started leaking, lol) and every answer I got was that this is no indicator of how your milk supply is gonna be. Some women leak alot and have trouble producing milk and some don't leak at all and have an abundant supply..so I'm thinking it's just gonna be a wait and see kinda thing. I hope you get to BF of that's really what you want to do. P&PT's.

my now 4 year old said mommy did just fine!

it will be ok , just eat and drink properly, i didnt leak as much , but she was breast fed for 19 months and never starved , im now 18 weeks with twins,  and my midwife told me it still should be no problem just the same thing, oh yeah , those lovely shakes all though the pregnancy and nursing , helped a lot, did you lose a lot of weight while in your first trimester?
with my daughter, at 1 year post op, i had a net gain of 8 lbs for the whole pregnancy
ive lost about 6 lbs, but the midwife said its normal since we know theres 2 babies!

I was worried but im glad things are ok.

I've not had any trouble nursing my post WLS children. Reagan was breastfed for 18 months and Riley is still at 20 months. Since I am 40, my breasts are no where near where they are supposed to be and it makes it tons easier. For instance, I can leave my breast in one room and do the dishes in the kitchen. That was a bad joke LOL.

My youngest 2 have never had a drop of formula and I think you can do the same with your twins if you wi****

LMAO.... ok that was funny...
Well I hope there wont be a problem, someone told me
about starving the babies if I try to feed both of them... I just have to keep track
of who got fed when and at what time.

I didn't leak at all and nothing at all came until after the baby was born. I think this is one of those things that can really vary from person to person, it doesn't mean you won't have enough milk. My production was slow to catch up to demand, so I supplemented with formula, which you might also have to do with twins, but you'll catch up eventually.
