I weighed today!!!!
We got back from Orlando at about 5pm yesterday and strapped in the car seats, loaded the trunk with all our stuff, sat in the car and our ignition was gone. I ended up eating vending machine food at the hotel while waiting 2 hours for the police and then another 30 minutes for the tow, and then my poor nephew drove 45 minutes to get us, 2 hours to our house and then another hour home. I ate a ton of pretzels from the machine and then a microwave pizza at 1 am last night so I wasn't expecting a great weigh in.
10 days ago I weighed 181 on the nose and this morning weighing really early I am 176.6! I guess walking at amusement parks 7 days in a row really pays off. I did eat really well most of the time but some meals were hard to count. So 4.4 pounds down this weigh in and down over 63 pounds now!
It will be interesting to weigh on Monday because I will either have a few pounds of rebound weight or a nice loss due to water retention right now.

Jennifer, when I read about your car on FB, my jaw dropped. I can't imagine being exhausted from a long trip like that and having to deal with that when all you want to do is get home. I hope all works out with that situation.
On another note........Woo Hoo on the weight loss. I think maybe just changing schedules and daily life can trigger a weight loss if you are still eating decent and being active.
(I started school this week and it's been chaotic, but I weighed today. It was good but I will save it for monday and do a new weigh in)
Glad you are home safely. And hope you guys had a wonderful time! I followed your disney posts and peeked at the pics on FB! LOL. BTW- I love the pic of you with your "new" man. Although he's probably like all the others.....potatoes for brains!
Happy to have you back. I REALLY need you around for encouragement. I don't think you realize how much you inspire me to keep up.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
Thanks Jo. It was very traumatic to deal with the car. I indeed told my insurance agent that he has bent me over and %^&*& me up the butt. These are not words I have ever uttered before but I was in fine form. I cried and got my hotel charges reversed where we left the car and I also got a room to use while we dealt with all the BS. When I think about the animal who tried to steal it I have such evil thoughts. That car is actually our daughters that we bought for her from my MIL after my FIL died last year. It has sentimental value.
I'm excited to finally be in the 70's. My BMI is just over 30 and soon I will be overweight instead of obese. I just realized as I was typing that I am not officially HALF the person I used to be. My highest weight was 354!
I can't wait to hear your weigh in. I just finished 4 loads at the laundry mat, have another 4 to go do and I am going to walk at least an hour later. It feels good to be back home!

The estimate came back at just under $1000. We have to pay that because insurance sucks. It will be ready next week. I don't care what my cheap husband says I am adding comprehensive insurance on this car. A few months ago it was a deer that caused $1500 in damage. I'm tired of paying for insurance that doesn't pay for anything.
