I want a Wendy's Frosty!!!!

Ok, so pregnant women crave icecream normally right?  But since we've all had this surgery and are especially sensitive to high amounts of sugar, fats, and some to lactose..... I want icecream but can't have it!  How unfair is that to not be able to give into a pregnancy craving?!

I feel like crap and have had nausea for like 2 weeks now and that would taste so good right now to me.... I do have some sf popsicles and that tastes good, but man I would kill for a vanilla frosty right now if I could have it.  Wahhhhhh.....

Ive had quite a few chocolate frosties while pregnant.  I can eat about 3 spoons of it before it makes me sick.. it freezes well  :)

I get the junior size. it's very small but enough to kill the craving, not enough for me to dump.  I say go for it.

when I was about 2-3 months out of surgery, I tried the Carnation Sugar Free Instant Breakfast with some milk and totally dumped on it- that is the ONLY thing I've dumped on since surgery!!!   I got horrible diarrhea like 15 mins later for an hour and then had a sour stomach the rest of the day... what a nightmare!!

I can drink a cup of milk at a time right now and be fine, but I dunno if I'm willing to risk that horrible dumping again to try eating a vanilla Frosty..... Maybe one bite.... but then would I be able to stop?? lol   And then I'd get really sick later on... ughhhhh.

I am having a little bit of buyer's remorse right now for having the surgery and not being able to eat like a "normal" person right now.... wahhhhh.... I mean I'm glad I had it done but man this sucks!!!!

Hubby went to Wendy's to get me a baked potato and himself a frosty, we'll see if I cave in with a little teeny bite.... oh he's back, gotta go!!

ok, the baked potato totally satisfied me and was the best thing I ate all day!!  I love the warmness of it, the bland taste, the saltiness of it, and of course the carbs.

But hubby got a dang chocolate frosty (I like the vanilla) and I took a small bite and was like bleh.....  Now I have to wait like a half hour to drink a nice glass of ice water, or at least some of it, if I don't want to get up during the night to pee (like I have been lately!!  grr!).  lol

Alot of the organic markets - Whole Foods, Wegmans etc have soy ice cream that is sweetened with fructose or are no sugar added -  I haven't been able to find them, but rumor has it they are out there!

I am on a search of this "mystery ice cream". I have yet to find it.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

That is funny...I was craving a frosty today too!  I had my first one since WLS, 4 years ago, a couple of weeks ago.  It didn't cause me any issues and it was sooooo good.  I'm not sure how far out from WLS you are, but a jr. size may not bother you especially since you can tolerate milk.  The trick is not to have it on an empty stomache.

Maybe a SF Fudgesicle (or 4) would satisfy the craving?

Good Luck,
