OT: Sex (Opinions Wanted) **Updated**

DH wants to "do it" tonight....Savannah was 3 weeks old on Wednesday. I feel fine and healed but am worried that I may not be. My hospital discharge sheet says "Nothing in vagina for 3-6 weeks" hmmm been 3, should I do it? <br />

 Well since it says "3-6 weeks"  I'd take that as if you feel ready then try it.  Obviously you'll go slow to make sure it's not painful or anything.  :)

 My doc said to wait at least 4 weeks. We tried around 5-6 weeks and I still had some discomfort. 

All depends on how you feel. If it hurts I would not. I had sex way too early after my oldest and boy did it hurt but stopped and waited another week and it was fine. Just be careful! :)

I had c section and waited the 6 weeks :( not by choice :)

my ob didnt say anthing about sex, just said when your ready............... i waited 2 weeks

well... im prob the wrong person to ask... sex seems like the GROSSEST!!!!!!!! thing to me right now.. its amazing how i even got preggo... so i would prob say "eternity"

You are too funny, that is how I use to be after my gastric bypass. But after this pregnancy I am still feeling sexual and after my first I was not so I was trying to give DH what he wants just in case I go back to thinking its the grossest..LOL How far along are you now?

With my vaginal deliveries my doc said 6 weeks and with my c-section my doc said 8 weeks. I waited the whole time. I was chicken to, but it was fine.

I made it 3 weeks ... whoops. It was fine, though ... just do what feels comfortable! Have fun!
