Dr. appt yesterday
Just a little update....
Yesterday I had my 2.5 hour Dr.'s appt with everyone in the practice. There are 2 midwifes, and 4 Dr.'s. Which ever one is on call when I go into labor, is who will deliver me. I'm cool with that, I have seen 3 of them already for gyno appts, and the others I met yesterday and they were really nice and attentive.
I got about a thousand baby magazines, books, prenatal vitamins, and we talked about a ton of stuff.
O yea, they changed the due date to April 13, which is my hubby's bday LOL! I know it's gonna change again, but that's cute for right now.
I have my ultra sound on Tuesday, although, they tried to move it up to Friday, but there were no more appts left. What the midwife told me that I didn't know, is that when people used to say "Don't tell anyone you're pregnant until 12 weeks" It wasn't because 12 weeks was like some magic number, it was because before high tech ultra sounds, 12 weeks was the first time you could hear the baby's heartbeat on the Doppler. So she assured me, that once I SEE my baby's heartbeat on Tuesday, the chance of a m/c drops to like 3 percent or something.
My hCg keeps rising, and all my blood work came back beautiful, and I have a appt with my surgeon Sept 18 so I will be getting a full vitamin work up then.
I cannot wait to see my little raisin's heart beat!!!!
Thanks
Karen
