A few weeks ago or so somebody posted a supplement for restless leg syndrome.  I wrote it down and my poor pregnant brain has misplaced it.  I really would like to find that post again.  Can somebody please help, I need sleep.
Thank you.

I’m not sure about a supplement – but this is exactly why I started seeing a hematologist. No one could help or tell me why it was happening – it got to the point where I thought I was delirious because I couldn’t sleep – I even started getting it while I was driving and it had to stop.

My hematologist discovered, that like many WLS patients, my iron and B-12 were ridiculously low. By my 3rd of 5 iron infusions and many B-12 shots it was gone. I started having it again about 3 weeks ago and we took blood – turns out my iron (ferritin levels specifically) were very low again.

I’m 24 weeks so we were expecting baby to deplete my levels but were surprised when my levels went from a 101 pre-pregnancy to a 23 at 22 weeks. I’m on my 2nd infusion now and take b-12 shots once a week and I’m not having any more issues.

All I can do is share my experience – I know it’s not the response you were looking for… but hopefully it can help???

Makes sense I told my OB that I was feeling so drained like I was low on B12 and she had me go on Tues. and have my levels checked.  My Iron was also on the low side 3 months ago so I will have to find out what it is now.  I am currently 17 wks so I guess I could be a little depleted by now.
Thanks for your help.

I posted that magnesium citrate helps me.... 400 mg at night before bed.  (In addition to what is in my calcium and multi).

If I forget it I get either cramps or RLS really bad.

Too much magesium has a laxative effect.....so maybe start with 200mg.

Good Luck!
