What day is my CD #1?

I'm really confused on trying to figure out when my day one was.

July 16th I got what seemed to be my period. It was 5 days late.

I bled like normal from July 16th until July 27th,on the 27th it was very heavy and uncontrolable, So thats when we went to the ER and found out I was having a mc.

So my question is do I count CD 1 from the 16th, or the 27th?

I'm trying to figure out if I'm 6 days or 16 days late. And even if it matters.

is it just a waiting game after a mc?

That is a great question. I would suggest waiting till your next cycle to try and figure out CD1. With a miscarriage your body may take a while to get back in rythm.

I counted from the first day of bleeding.  I got pregnant that cycle too

CD1 is the first day that you have a red flow. So in your case it would be the 16th.

That being said since it was a MC you might not have a period for 6-8 weeks until the body gets back to normal. Mine was something crazy (for me) like 40 days.

Hope that AF shows her head for you soon

with it being a chemical pregnancy (a late period more or less), the chances of ovulating again right away are very high.  I did.  Some women are actually extremely fertile following a very early loss.

hugs to all of us.
