Progesterone takers out there? Any of these symptoms

I have taken progesterone with all 3 of my IUI's and each time in addition to having to pee all the time, I also have severe cramps all night that I can't move to walk out or stretch but the pain is so bad I'm in tears.  I have tried eating a banana before bed but DH still has to run and get one at 3:30-4:00 because I'm just one big unhappy cramp.  I just asked the fert. doc. for potassium supplements and she seems to be reluctant to prescribe it and told me to see my primary doctor or surgeon first.

I'm not understanding why she won't prescribe it or for someone like me who is still considered diabetic to keep pumping bananas all night doesn't seem like a better alternative.

Any similar experience or advice on this matter would be appreciate...As always you guys ROCK!!!  (well, that's what my niece always says and it works when she says it)

Sorry you are having such trouble with cramps.  They make OTC potassium supplements.  You may want to try those.   I hope the cramps leave (or at least it will be pregnancy making you have cramps and not progesterone).

Gee, thanks, I was hoping after the 12 weeks of progesterone I would be home free.
