Nausea solutions during flights?

Hi all!  I'm heading to MD next week to see my parents and I'm concerned about nausea on the plane. I've been having off and on pretty bad bouts of it for a few weeks now (I'm 6wks pg).  I've done some reading and have seen that the take off and landing can be rough for some women.  Any suggestions for preventative measures or something to take on the plane with me?  I've been drinking ginger tea that helps most of the time, but that won't work on the plane.

Some suggestions I've seen have been to get "sea-bands" - I'm assuming those are for motion sickness, and Preggie drops - I haven't looked for those yet, but I'm a sugar dumper so if it's got too much that won't be an option unfortunately.

Thanks!

Debbi

what about dramamine? I thought I remembered my OB saying that was safe - I'd call yours to double check though!

have a fun trip!

Super-cold water, and crystallized ginger helped me a few weeks ago. Some peppermint or lavendar essential oil to sniff might help also. That canned air on airplanes always makes me wanna hurl, anyway!
