Eating Crow
All those times I said "there are no false positives..."
Blood test today revealed I am not pregnant. We are going forward with TTC so the IUD is out. Hopefully we'll have good news soon.
All in all, I did like the Mirena a lot. Sad to see it go. Ha ha.
EDIT -- Thanks to all who wished me luck and gave me advice!

Well, I'm hoping that this just solidifies your decision to TTC again, and isn't a disappoinment.
I have to admit, I'm a new Mirena user (as of July '09) and after seeing your post, was seriously considering having DH triple-bag in addition to my IUD, but I digress.
Good luck in your TTC journey and I hope you'll be posting with a BFP soon!
Hugs,

Yeah it is supposedly as safe as having your tubes tied, I don't know about that.
It was great in a lot of ways... No period after 3 months. Good spontanaiety.
Downside... I gained weight in a very short amount of time after it getting put in. Be sure to keep up w/ exercise with it in. I guess with 3 kiddos you don't have to worry so much about that!
