Has anyone ever paid for a 3 or 4D ultrasound to find out Gender of the baby? I'm just curious as to how expensive it is. I would consider paying for it if the baby doesn't cooperate the first time around :)

I think i'd have to travel about 2 hours to a bigger city to get it done.

For our gender check they used 2d since it was pretty early. It was 75 and we got pics and they gave us a peak at 3d but she looked all alien and you could not see much since she has no fat on her yet. I know every place is different. I know we go at 26 weeks for the good 3d 4d pics and all. They said that was the best time for good pics.

Hey KB I go on Friday and for just the gender check it's $50.  They also guarantee that they will find out the gender if not you come back for free.  They will let you come in as early as 15 wks for the gender.  I'm using babywaves they have offices all over.  Just google 3D/4D ultrasounds in your area.

I went in at 16 weeks for a gender check but they also took a lot of other pics.  I think the ultrasound lasted around 20 mins or so and it was 80.00 whi*****luded a dvd of all the pics and a bunch printed out and in color.

I paid right at $200.   We got a 30 minute long DVD and tons of pictures.   The place I went wouldn't do the ultrasound until you had already had your 20 week ultrasound.  I even had to bring proof I had it.

I can't wait to you find out what the baby is!

My OB's office does the imaging but you have to wait till you are 28 weeks to get it...plus it is 125.00 and I just can't see paying that much when I can spend it on something we need for the little one...so we are not going to have it done...

A local OB office here does it. I pd 25.00 for 15 mins , 5 pics of baby. That was for my 2nd.

This pregnancy I do not have to worry about it. Because of being high risk they will do a 3d-4d ultrasound later in pregnancy. No cost to us. So its kinda nice. I think its after 30 weeks.

Mine was $115 and I went at 28 or 29 weeks. I already knew she was a girl, I just wanted to see her. I got a DVD with the whole u/s session (about 30 minutes), several black and white pics, several color pics, and a CD with all the pics on there. It was neat because she didn't look so alien-ish and we got to see her lil fat hands, feet, and legs. This is my first, not sure if I'll do it again with my second or not but it was a nice splurge.
