Weird question

Ok so I know this is gonna sound weird but I am pretty sure that my uterus is only on the left side of my abdomen.  If you feel around or even look at my belly the right side dosen't bulge out like the left and I can FEEL I am touching my uterus on the left where I can't on the right.  All my kicks and sensations have been on the left for weeks now.  Is this right or something I should be concerned about?  I have my big ultrasound in a few weeks.  Any thoughts?

It is not a weird question.

I know exactly what you mean. Your uterus is where it is suppose to be but the baby just lays on your left side all the time and that is why you feel your uterus on that side only.  I am sure the baby will shift from that favorite position some day and you will notice that the baby is laying more on the opposite side.  i don't believe it is nothign to be concerned about but you can discuss with your OB if you are worried about it.  I have had 6 children and 4 of my babies just layed on one side all the time.

Take care and enjoy your pregnancy.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Hijack ...  I was just thinking about you and Gia the other day.  How have you and that beautiful baby girl been?  Did anything ever come from the incident at the hospital?

My belly is a tad lopsided but with twins, you never know which way they are going to lie.  I saw one woman leaving the OB's office completely lopsided!!!  It was crazy to see her belly leaning to the left at like 9 months pregnant.

Good luck!

My baby kicks mostly on my left side and most of the movements are on the left side...but the very first movements I felt were on the right side...so I really don't think it matters...

My baby girl stays to one side also. She also dangles her legs into my cervix. How fun!! So toes dig in there and I feel kicks there also. She only stays on one side though and I guess when she has no more room she will center herself out. :)

It's not a weird question at all.  I have notcied with all my pregnacies that they prefer one side to another while there is still room for them to be picky.  Don't worry, as the baby gets bigger, it will take up your entire uterus which will take up your entire abdomen!
