Heartbeat?

Hello,

I am 10 wks and have my first ultrasound this Thursday.  Can you usually see the heartbeat at 10 wks?  I really hope so because that will really calm my nerves.

Please let me know when you first saw the heartbeat on an ultrasound.

Yes. The heartbeat will show up in an ultrasound after 6 weeks. My RE does an ultrasound at 6 1/2 weeks to ensure he can see it.

Yep!  They can usually see it around 6 weeks.  Definitely at TEN!  Enjoy your appointment!
